Funny story... but it is one of those "you had to be there to really understand how I almost sharted myself funny" stories.
My pops put in 20 plus years into the Air Force. So he retired and was getting it in over at Home Depot. While he was working someone rolled up on him and was like, "Hey... you wanna get paid to take some pictures." My pops was like, "Yo... I don't even get down like that." Dude was like, "it's all legit, 300 a day, meet me at Dillards." My pops is all about his paper so he did it. So they put him in a baker outfit and took his picture. but he had no idea what is was for. I guess my Mom was jowning on him because he wore his make up all day. A month later, we see the picture. Which is hilarious in an of itself if you knew how my Dad is. He is a man's man. If it's broke, he'll fix it... with his huge banana hands.
Right after my wife and I got married, we went to Maui for our honeymoon. A vacation that I am still trying to pay off today. While we were flying on the plane, she was looking at this Southwest magazine and my subconscious saw something out of the corner of my eye.
There it was. The final ad. I don't know if I ever laughed any harder. I grabbed all the copies I could and gave them to my pops.
