The CD is Dead

The CD is dead, but I didn't get the memo. I refuse to let the CD die for one main reason. Sound quality. I guess MP3's are cool when you are listening to them on some small crappy headphones. But when you are listening to them on a dope Alpine Car Stereo System, or a nice home theatre system, MP3's are booty. And yes... for most music you don't even notice the sound quality, but in certain environments, it's not so much the sound so much as it is the physical presence of the sound. The rumble of the low bass and stuff. And I have had more than enough hard drive failures to know not to trust you whole music collection to one. So it is nice to have the actual CD in my hand. Especially if is has stuff in it like lyrics, artwork, photos, dope design and notes form the artist, etc.
